This wine is a delightful fusion of three Bordeaux varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon (Stag's Leap) 40%, Merlot (Oakville) 20%, Merlot (Rutherford) 20%, and Cabernet Franc, (Pope Valley) 20%. With mild tannin, firm fruit and a long and smooth finish, this wine is a perfect complement to many lighter foods, while sporting a deep and memorable Cabernet Sauvignon backbone. Notes include the pleasing - Deep blackberry, bold red raspberry, juicy plums, spicy green pepper, cigar box cedar, white pepper flakes, and dark chocolate, truly a joyous harmony of flavors.
