Diana has been fascinated with the connection between culture, food and wine for years, and took a two year sabbatical earlier in her career to study at a French cooking school in San Francisco. During that time, she had a chance to work with chefs from all over the world and was the unwitting subject of a few mishaps in some fairly impressive kitchens! While working with a chef in the wine country for several spectacular events, she remembered the reaction to these lovely, traditional French appetizers. Because they come from the Burgundian area of France, they pair quite nicely with our Iprima 2006 Pinot Noir.
